Strong Swims at Stonegate

Well we squeezed in most of the meet Wed. night at Stonegate pool. It was great meet swimming and social -wise since most kids from both pools knew each other from the neighborhood. We got through the 8 & under fly bfore the thunder and lightning sent us running for our cars. Some strong swims came from Jenna Galeano, Caroline Ionata, Aaron Kassman, Sasha and Lindsey Sletten, Manal Murangi, Evan Chavous, Claire Edwards,Tommy Cygnarowitz and Emma Chabolla. Congratulations to the many more who achieved best times!

The pep rally was an early one today , since our next A meet is tomorrow morning. The kids had fun making posters using markers and lots of glitter. Jamie and Julia Mamana learned that you DO need glue to make all that glitter stick! Many crunch bars were given for the Wed. night efforts as well as jolly ranchers for anyone earning a best time. Look for the "GO RH !" sign on the fence. The older kids used many plastic cups and since the cups were a little too big for the fence openings, they had to really muscle them in! Anyway, we are looking for more great swims and a close meet tomorrow against Country Glen. Have a great 4th!
